The EPB standards are grouped into topics or "modules".

This topic (module M4) comprises the systems and subsystems for cooling the building or building parts for human comfort.

Because of the similarity and possible combination of technologies water based cooling systems are covered under the topic Heating systems.

Dehumidification (systems) is a separate topic (module M7), but for practical reasons covered here under topic M4.
