Johann is currently working as an independent expert in the field of Energy Performance of Buildings with a focus area on HVAC and is REHVA Vice-President on behalf of AICVF. Previously he has held several posions at CSTB in France such as Director Internaonal Development and Head of Division Energy Systems and within the HVAC industry in Germany as Responsible R&D. Johann's responsibilies include research acvies (project manager naonal projects in France, coordinator of Horizon 2020 projects and parcipaon in Internaonal Energy Agency annexes), policy support (expert for the European Commission, World Bank and EBRD), standardizaon on Energy Performance of Buildings at both CEN and ISO levels (convenor CEN TC228/WG4, CEN TC371/WG1 & ISO TC 205/WG9). Johann also provided during the years expert advice on Energy Performance of Buildings to public authories in
France, Moldavia, Turkey and Ukraine.
