EPB Center's Executive Director, Andrei Vladimir Litiu, actively participated in the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) Cross-Programme Buildings Clustering Meeting in Brussels, held on May 21-22, 2024.

During this event, Andrei presented the activities of the Next Gen EPC cluster (via EPB Center's partnership in the iEPB and SmarterEPC LIFE CET projects), highlighting its role in advancing building performance assessment, certification and management good practices under the mantra of "Going farther together, as opposed to fast alone". The meeting brought together 46 EU-funded projects (70 participants, projects’ and EC representatives, attended in-person), fostering collaboration across deep renovation, smart buildings, and building rating instruments, with the ultimate goal to build synergies across various EU-funded initiatives, combining research, market uptake, and policy support to align with key EU energy directives (notably EPBD & EED).
