Abstract

This European Standard's scope is to standardize the required inputs, the outputs and the links (structure) of the calculation method in order to achieve a common European calculation method. This standard covers energy performance calculation of heating systems and water based cooling space emission sub-systems.

NOTE : This CEN standard was the basis for the ISO standard ISO 52031:2020. Both standards are largely identical. As long as there is no initiative to prepare a common CEN and ISO standard, EN 15316-2 should be used for application in Europe.
